THE CHALLENGE

• When presented in aggregate, AANHPI data shows a very skewed picture of outcomes, economic prosperity, and challenges facing the community, collectively and individually.

• AANHPIs are often excluded from conversations, invisible and marginalized due to a lack of disaggregated data and limited understanding.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Pew Research Center data is nonpartisan fact tank that provides up-to-date research and reports that are heavily sourced and utilized across all sectors to inform decisions and call for change.

• Disaggregated data provides a more thoughtful understanding of AANHPIs in regards to education, employment, housing, income, language access, veteran status, and more.

THE SOLUTION

• Funding new disaggregated research that will allow for more empathetic and intentional policy making and business decisions that can create better and more equitable opportunities across communities.

STATUS

• Research was fully funded after a virtual event was held by Leaders Forum and Pew Research Center.
